The Kansas Police Dog Association was founded and became an official association in the fall of 1998 following our first certification seminar. The association was formed to provide quality training opportunities, along with certification standards that would withstand the scrutiny of the courts, for law enforcement organizations throughout the State of Kansas.
** NOTICE ** "Kansas Police Dogs" is in no way, shape or form associated with the Kansas Police Dog Association. There has been some confusion since the owner started this new business under that name and the KPDA wants to ensure everyone knows we do not endorse or support any private business or trainer. The KPDA is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization and "Kansas Police Dogs" is a for profit business.
The Kansas Police Dog Association is working to set dates for the next conference as well as dates for some one-day training opportunities. Check back for more information in the near future.
